With India’s tour of England taking centre-stage over the next couple of months, here we take a look at the form of all the players ahead of the T20 Internationals.
India’s tour of England, beginning from July 3, kick starts with three T20 Internationals to be held at Manchester, Cardiff and Bristol, respectively. While Deepak Chahar and Krunal Pandya have been called in to replace Jasprit Bumrah and Washington Sundar in the Indian squad, Sam Curran earns his first call-up for the English.
However, amidst the crop of talented players and global stars who are going to pledge their trade on the field, two players enter at the top of their form. They are India’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar and England’s Jos Buttler. Both og them have earned top ratings ahead of the series, thanks to their recent exploits.
Kumar’s bowling expertise against South Africa was incredible and coupled with an exemplary Indian Premier League (IPL) season, this 28-year-old would be predominant on the mind of every English batsman. Buttler, on the other hand, is enjoying remarkable form at present. After a highly successful IPL season, the 27-year-old scored a blistering 61 runs in just 30 balls against Australia to win England the match. He would be the Men in Blue’s main target.
