Bears stand firm with Nagy for the season

While the Chicago Bears had their fair share of woes in the 2021-22 season, the team isn’t likely to fire head coach Matt Nagy for their mid-level results. This is good news for the coach as he hopes to tweak the squad and find ways to win.

Nagy’s future with the Bears will stay as planned for now. The Bears have no plans to fire him and they are not the kind of team that fires coaches in the middle of the season. As per reports, Nagy will get a considerable rope through and all the way to the end of the season.

There are talks that the Bears are looking to get a new coach by December which has spread like wildfire among the club’s fans. Some even said that Nagy’s meeting with Bears owner George McCaskey was all about the coach begging to give him a chance.

It was just the owner trying to remind him that they still have a long way to go. It was a message to stay focused on the task at hand in the 2021-22 season. That is why they need to stop all of those talks as it does not help when it comes to the team’s chemistry which has been shaky as of late.

Fans also said that his last week’s game against the Detroit Lions would be his last. Still, Nagy does need to win for the Bears and keep it that way if he hopes to keep his job by the end of the season. Buzz has swirled online that Nagy will be fired if he fails to reach a certain mark in the season, but those are yet to be confirmed by any player or Nagy himself.

Nagy’s future with the Bears hangs in the balance, and it is up to his lead in the Bears’ games to change his chances in the long run. This is why it matters a lot for him to keep on winning and shake off their woes. The Bears are keen to start over if he fails to deliver, and this is what the coach will need to work on soon.
