Raiders sign Jackson for 2021-22 season

The Las Vegas Raiders are getting a huge boost by signing DeSean Jackson in the 2021-22 season. The Raiders are in need of a player who can be a force on the receiving end, and Jackson may just be the perfect fit for the squad’s title hopes this season.

The Raiders can enjoy a lot of success if they can make the tandem between Derek Carr and Jackson work in their next set of games. Jackson is one of the most explosive stars in the league, and settling for the veteran minimum means that he is off to a bigger purpose with the Raiders.

Jackson became a free agent in just a week after the Los Angeles Rams failed to find a trade partner to deal him with. The star signed with LA in the offseason but failed to get a lot of playing time. Jackson and LA soon agreed to go for a trade from him and the team moved on from him which made him a free agent instead.

Vegas took the field for the first time without Henry Ruggs III and they struggled to move the ball in the air with no big-play option ready to make the calls. Jackson is set to take over his spot and boost the Raiders on that note as well. This is why there is a chance that Jackson can lead the team to a whole new era with free flowing offence in the coming games.

Without Ruggs, Carr made 30 of 46 passes for 296 yards but also threw two interceptions in their 23-16 loss to the New York Giants. This is what makes Jackson a key factor in the team’s road to the playoffs. Being a veteran of 14 years will give him and the Raiders a bigger hope in the 2021-22 season.

Now he has a chance to work with the Raiders and make a bigger impact in their run. This is what makes him a key player in the Raiders’ hopes of winning their way into the playoffs. He just needs to fit in as soon as he can.
