Thompson hopeful in playoff run with Warriors

Klay Thompson is nearing his return to the court with the Golden State Warriors in the 2021-22 season. The star has a lot of faith that the Warriors will be in for a much bigger run as they hope to get back in the playoffs and win another league title after losing in the 2019 NBA Finals.

It is just a matter of time until one of the league’s best shooters will come back to play again after missing two seasons. Klay Thompson is eyeing more 37-point bursts and other scoring runs in his game, such as the time when he nailed 14 threes in just one game.

As the Warriors continue to show that they are the league’s best team, adding Klay back to their roster would be the dream eater for all teams in the NBA. Due to a pair of injuries, the Klay show had to be stopped for a while, and now he is ready to get back and help them win more games.

The Warriors are the best this season. The antics of Stephen Curry and the rest of the revamped roster is a threat to all teams in the league, and that puts levels on how they can send a strong message as soon as they get Klay back.

‘It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am to be playing basketball again’, Thompson said. ‘I feel like myself. I feel great. I’m knocking shots down, I’m playing great D. I’m playing defense. The hardest part is just simulating a game and that conditioning that goes with being a great NBA player. It’s hard, and it’s definitely a thing that takes time’.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said that they are eager to see Klay step into the court and start hitting shots. However, they will have to limit him in his early games and take one step at a time to give him a full game to play.

As soon as Klay gets back into the lineup, the Warriors will unleash chaos into the NBA, and fans can even expect them to go for a big record as they did in 2016.
