England vs Pakistan: Winnable factors for the third T20I

Bat first or second

Old Trafford gears up to host what would be an entertaining finale to the T20I series between England and Pakistan. Both teams have excelled in the batting and bowling departments, and considering the record at Manchester - teams chasing have fared better with three wins in seven matches - the toss-winning captain will be compelled to bowl first.

England have won six of their 11 T20I games against Pakistan, and will battle for bragging rights in the third and final T20I. Victory on Tuesday would give the Three Lions their fourth successive bilateral series win over the Shaheens.

Top Batsmen

Liam Livingstone has stood out with the bat in the ENG v PAK T20I series, scoring 141 runs at an average of 70.50 runs per game. The 27-year-old has now aggregated 200 runs in seven T20Is, and will look consolidate the tally on Tuesday.

For Pakistan, Mohammad Rizwan is backed by the odds to shine in the series decider. The top-order batter has scored 100 runs in the T20I series so far, needs 57 runs to reach 1000 in T20Is. In doing so, Rizwan will be the second-fastest Pakistani to the landmark, after Babar Azam (26).

Top Bowler

Shaheen Shah Afridi has bowled reasonably well so far, taking four wickets at an impressive economy rate of 8.09. The left-arm fast bowler possesses the skill to unsettle the English batters and shoulders the responsibility to propel the visitors.

England, meanwhile, will pin their hopes on Saqib Mahmood to wreak havoc on the Pakistani batsmen. The pacer has taken four wickets in the series so far, and will be aiming to improve his economy rate of 9.87 in the series decider.
