The turf at the Narendra Modi Stadium has been batting friendly. Teams batting first or second have found the ball coming on to the bat well. The middle-order batsman has scored 421 runs against Bangalore so far in 26 matches with two half-centuries to his name. He is closely followed by Andre Russell, who enjoys a strike rate of 215.11 against Bangalore and averages 46.25.

For Bangalore, Virat Kohli will remain the best bet given his whopping tally of 730 runs against Kolkata in 27 matches. He has scored one century and four half-centuries against them. Kohli is closely followed by AB de Villiers, who has a tally of 511 against Kolkata.

Top Bowler

Despite his inconsistent form, Sunil Narine remains Kolkata's biggest weapon against Bangalore. The spinner has 16 Bangalore scalps to his name in 13 matches so far, and enjoys an economy rate of 6.75. For Bangalore, Yuzvendra Chahal will the best bet. The wrist-spinner also has 16 wickets against Kolkata in 16 matches, and an economy rate of 7.8.
