Sri Lanka vs India: Winnable factors for second T20I highlights the key factors that will decide who seals a win in the second T20I between Sri Lanka and India.

Bat first or second

Dew is expected to play a big role in the second T20I at the R Premadasa Stadium, and based on how the bowlers fared in the first game, the toss-winning captain would opt to bowl first on Wednesday.

Head to head record

Sri Lanka have lost their third successive meeting against India in T20Is, with the record now extending to 14 losses in 20 matchups against the Men in Blue. The visitors are poised to consolidate the tally with a series-clinching victory in the second T20I.

Top Batsmen

Shikhar Dhawan will look to seal a win in his maiden international series as captain. The opener has hit 46 runs in the ongoing T20I series and is poised to add to his 1719 runs in the 20 overs format.

For Sri Lanka, skipper Dasun Shanaka must showcase his tenacity with the bat if his side are to strike back in the second T20I. The 29-year-old has 564 runs in his T20I career and is well-placed to build upon his strike rate of 108.04.

Top Bowler

Bhuvneshawar Kumar leads the wicket-takers' charts in the SL vs IND T20I series, and is the odds-on favourite bowler to shine going into the second T20I. The seasoned bowler will aim to excel in his 50th T20I game, and add to his 49 wickets.
