Sri Lanka vs India: Winnable factors for third ODI discusses the key factors that will decide who seals a win in the third ODI between Sri Lanka and India.

Bat first or second

Thunderstorms are being forecast for this game. That said, a washout looks very unlikely. As far as the pitch goes, expect it to assist the batsmen.

Head to head record

India have now won six of their last seven meetings with Sri Lanka, and are favourites to seal a whitewash result in style. The Lankan Lions, on the flip side, need a win to secure points in the ODI World Cup Super League.

India, meanwhile, have registered a record-breaking 93rd win against a single opponent in ODIs (Sri Lanka) and are poised to end the ODI series on a positive note.

Top Batsmen

Surya Kumar Yadav has arguably been the most fluent batsman on show in the ODI series till now. Despite being involved in his maiden series, Yadav showed great temperament and class in scoring runs. His ability to rotate strike, coupled with the talent to find gaps will make him a huge asset for the visitors.

Top Bowler

Wanindu Hasaranga is perhaps the only Sri Lankan bowler who appears to be causing some sort of trouble to the Indian batsmen. The leg-spinner bamboozled the openers and created pressure on the middle and lower order in the second game. Given his impressive spell in the previous match, expect the hosts to rely on Hasaranga to give them regular breakthroughs.
