OG unveils a brand new roster for the 2021-22 Dota Pro Circuit

Two-time The International winners OG has created a brand new team with prodigious players built around coach turned player Mikhail ‘Misha’ Agatov. The remaining three players from the TI10 squad have either retired or taken an extended break away from competitive Dota 2.

Misha joined OG in the second season of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit as the team’s head coach through TI10. With a solid mix of knowledge and good character, Johan ‘N0tail’ Sundstein and Sébastien ‘Ceb’ Debs felt that Misha was the right choice.

Ceb talked about how he felt that Misha was the right choice when crafting the team. He said, ‘He is a very nice person and he has a very good heart. He cares about people around him and he cares so much about the game. This is a winning recipe. He is smart, talented, and willing to learn. What else can you ask? I can safely say that without him we would have not qualified for TI10’.

Joining Misha in the support duo is former Team Liquid position four, Tommy ‘Taiga’ Le. The Norwegian is a proven support player who has played in two TIs when the Liquid squad was under the Alliance banner. Now, Taiga has parted ways with Liquid, OG swooped in and signed him to become their new position four taking over Martin ‘Saksa’ Sazdov’s spot.

The rest of the team is filled with relatively unknown players. Ammar ‘Ammar The F’ Assaf is probably the most well-known player in the new core trio because he is popular in the matchmaking leaderboard. Hailing from Jordan, ATF is the latest big name from the country after former OG player Amer ‘Miracle-’ Al-Barkawi and Team Secret’s Yazied ‘YapzOr’ Jaradat.

ATF’s teammate Bozhidar ‘Biziem’ Bogdanov has joined him from their time with Creepwave. The former ‘Hansha’ is known for his flashy plays in the midlane with heroes like Invoker and Void Spirit. Completing the five-man squad is carry player Artem ‘Yuragi’ Golubiev from Ukraine, who is known as a high-MMR player who can play any carry hero.

This new OG team is a refreshing yet sombre sight because the core from the two-time TI winning teams have all left the active squad.
