Arsenal claims 2-0 win against Leeds in EFL Cup
Fans at the Emirates Stadium were left with a good win as Arsenal crushed Leeds United with a 2-0 victory in the EFL Cup. The North London squad stood tall and kept their heads up as they held a strong lead from start to finish.
Arsenal blew their way past Leeds to earn a 2-0 win at home. The club found a great groove in the second half and their defence was solid to close a crucial game. Arsenal did not hold back in their offence and let their usual flow do the work to beat Leeds.
The team’s success has sparked a new level in their games for the 2021-22 season. This is one of the best games for the team so far and they showed that there is more to expect from their squad. None of Arsenal’s top scorers had a goal in the game.
Calum Chambers and Eddie Nketiah had a shot for Arsenal. The team made it look easy in their games as they took the lead and pushed the pace for the club. Arsenal did not have a problem on that end and they were firing well from all angles so far.
Arsenal had a strong offence going
Both Calum and Eddie were Arsenal’s main men for this win, and the club had the best run in this win so far. The club made some of the best plays in the game and had a strong output on that end. Arsenal’s success has always been about the way they control the offence, and they did well in this win.
Arsenal had 14 shots and four of those were on target. The team held the ball for just 44% but they had bigger chances than Leeds. Their 347 passes were good for an 80% pass rate and this shows how Arsenal has improved in their past few games as well.
Arsenal has shown a lot of grit in their games, and they gave a strong show in this one. This win is seen as a sign of life from the club as they hope to add more points to their tally in the 2021-22 season. At the same time, Arsenal can also go for a deeper push in the EFL Cup to improve their chances.
Arsenal’s defence was on par
Just as Arsenal thrived on the offence, the club also found a way to get a strong pace on the defensive end. The team’s 4-2-3-1 line has been a great boost on their defence and they had a strong wall to cover most of their holes in the game.
Arsenal has been busy trying to improve its roster last summer. While coach Mikel Arteta did not have a bright run at grabbing the best talent out there, the club still found a way to work with their players and turn it into a strong defensive unit.
If Arsenal can keep the same pace going into the next games of the 2021-22 season, there is no doubt that the North London squad can keep itself going all the way to the top of the Prem. This is also a good sign as the team needs to build from their lowly finish in the 2020-21 run.
