Ramos wants to win with Paris SG
Sergio Ramos is pleased to have the chance to play for Paris SG, and he is not content with just playing alone. The star wants to make sure that he gets a chance to win a title with the club.
It's been a while since the former Madrid captain inked a deal with Paris SG. It will still take some time for Ramos before he can fully adjust to his new life with the club. The veteran star joined the club on a free move in the summer after a long run as Madrid’s top man.
Ramos isn’t quite used to not having that armband on his left bicep, which is the mark of a captain in every single game. Paris SG had that video where he is trying on the team’s new home shirt and Ramos was seen checking his arm more than once in search of the captain’s armband.
For Paris SG, Marquinhos holds the honour of being the skipper for the club. This means that Ramos will have to get used to not having that symbol after a very long stint with Madrid. He spent a total of 16 years with the club where he won five La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies.
Now that he is in Paris SG for two years, Ramos is keen to win big with his new team and make sure they get the best chance to do so. The former Madrid captain thinks that PSG is the next perfect step for him.
‘The best place to keep on dreaming, the best club to keep on winning. We're going to fight with everything we have for everything. Allez’, said the former Madrid skipper. ‘Paris SG is a club that has already proven itself at the highest level’.
Ramos has taken down some deals from big clubs such as Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea before he went on to sign a deal with Paris SG. Ramos chose the squad for a reason, and that is to win big with them for years to come.
