At just 13 years of age, Egyptian table tennis star Hana Gouda has become a star. She is the youngest Egyptian athlete to play in Summer Games history. In the past few weeks, Gouda made the final of the African Table Tennis Championships.

When you look at the Tokyo Games earlier this year, Gouda was one of the most surprising names in the event. Gouda is barely a teenager but she’s already one of the best players in the world. As time goes on, you can expect her to become an even better player because her attributes will improve.

Earlier in 2021, Gouda was given an award to honour her efforts in the table tennis scene. When she received the award, she talked about how she was pleased with the prize. She said, ‘It is a great honour to be chosen as one of the best athletes in Egypt. The awards give me great motivation to continue and insist on always excelling, and the value of this honour, in particular, cannot be expressed from my over joyness’.

While she is blessed with natural talent, Gouda has worked hard to get where she is. Gouda trains relentlessly every day which is the key to success. Most athletes will tell you that their success has always been because of their hard work behind the scenes. Some people think that they just walk into the gym and play the sport they love but they have elite training regimens that help them refine their playstyles.

Gouda is just a young athlete but you can always see her working on her game. She knows she has to work hard for her to reach her dreams. She said, ‘In order to achieve my dreams, I undergo six-hour training daily, under the supervision of a foreign coach and others Egyptian, as well as special exercises for fitness, there is great cooperation between everyone to continue clinching titles’.

The progress continues for Gouda

Gouda is one of the best athletes in Egypt at a young age. She may play in table tennis’ top tier for the next two decades. This should not be a surprise because she loves table tennis and she has unlimited motivation to keep going.

She said, ‘I hope to maintain my progress in the world rankings, and to complete my career in the best possible way. I have limitless ambitions as long as I play my beloved sport’.

It will be fun to see her career pan out because Gouda is one of the best stars who has come from Egypt over the years. She is a tantalizing prospect and she’ll only get better as time goes on in the table tennis scene.
