Emma Raducanu does not want to stop at her US Open win

With her latest US Open win, Emma Raducanu is primed for greater success in the WTA Tour. She does not want to stop with the lone Grand Slam win. At just 18 years of age, Emma knows she still has a bright future ahead of herself.

Emma now has a target on her back with her return to the WTA Tour. She is now considered one of the biggest names alongside her fellow US Open finalist, Leylah Fernandez. They are the new kids on the block but you should expect them to go on big runs again. They will develop into even bigger stars as they look to reach lofty heights again.

As a little-known qualifier, Emma pulled off a big surprise at Arthur Ashe stadium. She went from a qualifier to become the champion in the space of one event. For Emma, her popularity has skyrocketed over the past few months. However, she has still retained her normal habits and remains grounded even if she has become a popular star now.

Bet on future tennis matches

Emma feels there is so much room for improvement

When viewers watch Emma play tennis, they can see that she is not only a strong player and she also exudes quiet confidence. She is not the type of player to grunt and shout during matches because she plays the game at her own pace and doesn’t force the issue. She is one of the most poised tennis players on the Tour at such a young age.

The best part of Emma’s success is that she is primed for more. She knows that she can win more Grand Slam events if she works harder with each victory.

Emma said, ‘I feel the good thing is I’ve still got so much room to improve, and I won a Grand Slam. It hasn’t really sunk in. I don’t know if it ever will, but I feel like now instead of feeling I’ve got a lot of pressure I feel like free, like loose. Because you play tennis to win a Grand Slam, and I won a Grand Slam so now it’s just a bonus’.

Emma is hungry for more success

Emma has already tasted success in her young career. She is only a few months in and she has already become one of the best players in the world. While Naomi Osaka and Ashleigh Barty have struggled over the past few months, Emma has taken over the Tour.

She will have tougher runs in the future but you can expect her to come out with a fiery streak. Emma said, ‘I am just super proud of the achievement. I am now looking forward. I am not going to cling on to that. I am still hungry for more, really’.

Tennis fans should be excited because they have another phenom in their midst.
