Bitcoin Sports Fanatics League Season 7 - Playoffs Recap

Promotion/Relegation Playoffs
This week was all about the playoffs — three decisive games that determined the final promotion and relegation spots. So, without further ado, here are the results. Mv1986 continued his strong form and secured his Division 1 spot with a confident 4:2 win over ulven. It was a one-sided affair from the start — once mv1986 took the lead, he controlled the game calmly to the finish line and booked his place in the top division.
The Division 2 playoff was a much tighter contest. ILuckyGuyI edged out Mitchr4 by a single goal in a nail-biting 4:3 victory. The two were neck and neck until the final moments, but getting the Inter question right proved decisive, sealing ILuckyGuyI’s spot in Division 2. Division 3’s playoff brought the highest scoreline of the round. Russeras came out on top in a thrilling 5:4 win against execijutiere — and it was the only match to feature a comeback, with russeras overturning a 2:1 deficit to claim the final Division 3 place.
All that is good must end
Season 7 is officially in the books, and all rewards have been paid out. In total, we sent out nearly 150 mBTC, worth over $17,000 — the biggest prize pool in BSFL history. On top of that, more than $3,600 in free bets were awarded throughout the season. What a way to wrap up our partnership with Sportsbet! A huge thank you to them for standing by us from the very beginning and supporting this competition through seven incredible seasons. We always knew the partnership would eventually run its course, but we didn’t expect it to happen this soon. The split comes as a result of Yolo shifting its focus toward more regulated markets, and naturally, our goals have started to move in different directions.
The show must go on
As the song goes, the show must go on. With that spirit in mind, we’ve done our best to secure a new sponsor for Season 8 of BSFL. Out of respect for Sportsbet, I won’t go into details here — but just know that the new season kicks off this Sunday, and all the information is available in our Bitcointalk thread. This will be the last BSFL article published on the Sportsbet blog, so thank you all for reading and supporting us through the seasons. See you in a new place, but with the same passion for the game.
