Season 6 Recap
It’s finally over—another grueling BSFL season has come to a close. While most of the key results were already locked in before the last round, we now have the full picture: cup placements, promotion playoffs, and final Division 4 standings are all decided. Time to break it all down, one piece at a time, as always.
Cup final
Big congratulations to arallmuus, our new BSFL Cup champion! He delivered a commanding performance in the final, defeating vivekdhyani1 5:3 after taking the lead early and never looking back. The 3rd place playoff was a much tighter affair, with Dump3er edging out Strongkored in a nail-biting 5:4 win. That result means our Division 1 champion has to settle for the wooden plaque in the cup—but thanks to arallmuus, Division 1 still walks away with the trophy and the bragging rights.
Promotion playoffs
The Division 1 playoff was a real nail-biter. It looked like vd309 was on his way out, but he pulled off a late equalizer and ultimately secured the win over mitchr4 in a tense penalty shootout. That result means vd309 will stay in Division 1, while mitchr4—despite being the highest-scoring team across the entire BSFL—falls just short of promotion.
In the Division 2 playoff, Rikafip also held his ground, edging out russeras with a tight 3:2 victory. So in the end, both playoff matches saw the higher division sides defend their spots successfully. Congratulations to both vd309 and Rikafip for holding their nerve under pressure!
Division 4
Division 4 has wrapped up, and it’s HomieAllDay who takes the title—just one point ahead of Spack17. Interestingly, both players lost their final matches, leaving the door wide open for a twist at the end. Spack17’s game was tight and could’ve gone his way, while it was clear early on that HomieAllDay was outmatched by General_Bitcoin. Still, the lead held, and the crown goes to HomieAllDay.
The real drama, though, was in the battle for 3rd place, the final promotion spot. BitcoinHunt3r finished his season two rounds early with 6 points and a +5 goal difference, and then had to sit back and nervously watch the chaos unfold. Dump3er gave it everything and came agonizingly close—finishing just one goal shy of overtaking him. It must have been brutal for both: one helplessly watching, the other charging hard only to fall just short.
Season 6 Rewards
Season 6 rewards have been paid out, and the numbers speak for themselves—over 150 mBTC distributed, which comes out to more than $15,000! The biggest winner this time? Once again, our LMS champion which was el che this season, who pocketed just over 25 mBTC. But that’s not all—we also handed out around $3,500 in free bets during the season, making it the most rewarding season so far.
