Cup Recap

This was a cup week and we had a lot of games to work through in our double game week program. We started with 63 players and played 47 games which gave us 16 players left standing. They deserve a praise but it is way too many games for me to mention them all here so here is a link to the full cup draw and you can check it by yourself:

Our Division 1 leader, strongkored used his free pass in Round 1 well and booked his place in Round 3 against cup specialist LFC_Bitcoin. As usual cup was full of surprises and we lost both ralle14 and vd309 in round 1. Division 2 leaders jeremypwr and VashaUdacha777 didn’t fare much better and both are out of the cup as well. As always cup seems like a prefect opportunity for lower division teams to get some nice rewards or maybe for the teams that are struggling in the league to turn their season. One good example is team Igebotz that booked his place in Round 3 while still waiting for the first victory in the league.

Round 7 Preview

We are returning to league after one week of cup interlude. Biggest derby in Division 1 is a duel between strongkored and Saint-loup, where strongkored will give his best to win and keep his position on the top of the Division. Not going to be easy since Saint-loup had some excellent performances this season and he isn’t better placed just because he had bad luck to play other great teams. Ralle14 and vd309 have an easier job on the paper so they probably hope for easy day in the office and then they can wait patiently for strongkored to slip.

We are returning to Division 2 with a derby as well, VashaUdacha777 is taking on jeremypwr in direct duel between first 2 teams on the table. Should be one hell of a match with chasing pack hoping they play a draw and loose points. Divisions 3 and 4 don’t have such high-profile games on the table but I am sure there will be plenty exiting duels anyway.
