Round 10 Recap
Round 10 is finally over, this was a strange one due to DOTA2 final game that got stretched over couple of days with technical problems. It is also the reason why you are reading this article a bit later than usual since I had to wait for all results to be final. Round 10 was super though on our players with results of 2 and 3 correct scores happening all over the divisions. With that in mind we decided it is perfect timing to go back to BSFL cup for this week and give most of the players a week of to recuperate before final games and end of season.
Division 1
Vd309 finally had a bad round this season with only 2 correct answers and gave the rest of us a chance to catch him both in the league and LMS. Arallmuus took the gift without blinking and won the duel with 4:2 result. This slip up was also well used by strongkored and cryptofrka who both won their games and jumped to the top of the table. League still looks super tight and it will be interesting to see who will come on top in the weeks to come. Seems like we are having a new leader every round.
At the other end of the table there is relegation group forming up. Chi20, jayce, mv1986 and especially Kokee44 have started to lose the step with the rest of the league and look like prime relegation candidates at this point. Gap to the safety isn’t that big yet, but 3 points are also not negligible and these teems need to start wining asap if they intend to keep Division 1 status.
Division 2
Big 5:1 win for ulven against LTU_btc deserves a special mention here since it was very close and low scoring round. Table top looks similar to the last round with darxiaomi on the top followed closely by VashaUdacha777 and cls63. This division is also super close and no telling yet who will come on top, let alone win it. Here we have 3 teams losing pace and looking like prime relegation candidates. While russeras and Igebotz still have some chance to catch up I am going to go on the limb and say imarios will be Division 3 team next season. Only miracle can help him now.
Division 3
Division 3 is the closest one yet and everyone except Omikifuse still has a good chance even for promotion playoffs. This will be a though one to decide and every point will be super important. That makes big wins and scoring a lot of goals even more precious. This round special mention goes to Ozymandias_DZ and Da_Silva, both of them managed 5 correct answers and nice big wins to go with it. Patikno leading the table with 2 points to spare on the rest of the field.
Division 4
HomieAllDay and Spack17 look like only contenders for the title in Division 4 with 4 points to spare to the other teams. 2 promotion spots look reserved for them while we will have a big fight for the final promotion spot.
CUP preview
This is a cup week as I have already mentioned in intro. We have 16 teams left in the competition and we will again have double round which means only 4 teams will remain after this round. A mix bag of divisions and form if I have ever seen one. Should be super interesting to see who will come on top and secure their spot in semifinal.
LMS
LMS was predictably though in a low scoring round like this and we lost 4 players with just 6 remaining teams before buy backs come in. That being said I suspect we will see at least 3 buy backs this week since vd309 and Slissy are among those dropped and they are actually leading the LMS table. This was perfect opportunity for the rest to catch up a bit and they did. Not by a lot, but even 2 points difference made up could come handy later on. At the moment, difference between first placed vd309 and last placed slaman29 is 8 points, which is a lot but manageable, all to play for.
