Bitcoin Sports Fanatics League Season 6 Starts - Round 11 Re-cap

Round 11 Recap
Round 11 has officially wrapped up, and let’s just say it was another tough one for our players. Most teams were stuck at 2 or 3 correct answers and nobody managed to get more than 5 correct answers. That feat was deserved for just 3 teams, congratulations to leea-1334, hosemary and ovcijisir for making it in a round as though as this one. As for what’s next? I wouldn't bet on things getting easier anytime soon. With the international football break ahead, we all know those games have a knack for keeping us on our toes and throwing in a few unexpected curveballs.
Division 1
Our main derby game between Slissy and vd309 was an absolute nail-biter, with Slissy edging out a 3-2 victory. Honestly, I was expecting a bit more from the teams with the highest correct answer percentages in the league, but this round proved tough even for them. Meanwhile, Arallmuus triumphed in his duel against chi20, winning 4-2 and emerging as the round's big winner. In a bit of a twist, all the other top teams in Division 1 lost points, allowing Arallmuus to capitalize and leapfrog them into first place. It’s becoming clear that this season, getting to the top is one thing, but staying there is a whole different challenge. We’ve had a new leader nearly every round, and I’m curious to see if that trend continues.
Looking ahead to the next round, we should get some clarity on the league’s top spots. We’ve got three high-profile matchups on the horizon: I’m gunning for Arallmuus, notblox1 faces off against cryptofrka, and strongkored will host ralle14 in an effort to reclaim the top spot. It’s shaping up to be a thrilling, edge-of-your-seat kind of round—prepare for some serious drama right up until the final whistle!
Division 2
Our Division 2 derby between VashaUdacha777 and cls63 ended with a peaceful 3-3 draw, a result that left both teams happy enough but not exactly thrilled. Meanwhile, Darxiaomi claimed victory in his duel and, with that win, stretched his lead to a comfortable 3-point gap at the top. It’s far from over, but a 3-point cushion is a nice little safety net in a league as tightly packed as this one. In a rather unusual twist, two teams in Division 2 forfeited their games due to technical difficulties—something we rarely see. Russeras’ absence was perhaps expected, as he’s deep in a relegation battle, but jeremypwr’s forfeit was more surprising. With him gunning for the top spot, those lost points could prove to be a costly mistake.
Division 3
After the latest round of results, the league table is looking quite intriguing. Patkino sits comfortably at the top with a 4-point cushion, making them the prime candidate for the title. Meanwhile, Omikfuse finds themselves at the bottom, trailing by 8 points to the next club. The real drama, however, is in the middle, where all 16 other teams are within just 10 points of each other—every single point is going to count as we head into the business end of the season. This could become even more crucial after the next round. On paper, Patkino has an easier match ahead, while 2nd placed yassinmanai and 3rd placed Da_Silva will face off in a derby match.
Division 4
It’s more of the same in Division 4, with Spack17 and HomieAllDay sitting comfortably at the top, looking like pretty much nailed-on promotion candidates. However, the race for the third promotion spot is heating up, as all the other teams are still very much in the hunt. A standout performance this round came from ovcijisir, who pulled off an impressive 5-2 victory. That big win has them right back in the promotion fight, proving that no spot is secured just yet. It's all to play for in Division 4!
LMS
Somewhat surprisingly that low scoring round as this one resulted with only 2 teams exiting LMS. Ulven and buwaytress were the ones left below the line, thanks for the sponsorship guys. Meanwhile, vd309 is still holding onto the top spot in the LMS table, but after two lackluster rounds by his own high standards, his lead has shrunk to just 4 points. With the gap closing, it’s all to play for now, and I’m expecting a flurry of buy-backs from the remaining 8 players. Things are about to get very interesting!
