Bitcoin Sports Fanatics League Season 6 Starts - Round 13 Re-cap

Round 13 Recap
Round 13 definitely caused some waves. We saw teams scoring as low as 1 or 2 correct answers, while others breezed through with 5 or 6. Looks like some teams were much better prepared for this round than others. But, hats off to Jayce and el che for hitting a solid 7 correct answers—seriously, impressive! Those performances will certainly give you a nice boost in your placements.
Division 1
Interestingly, we had a team MIA in our top division this round. Apparently, mv1986’s club bus decided to leave them stranded on the side of the road—guess that's what happens when you try to pinch pennies with the budget. Anyway, that’s a straightforward 3-0 win for Team Saint-Loup, and I’m sure they’re more than happy to take the points. I already gave Jayce his well-deserved shoutout in the opening paragraph, but let's not forget another exciting match. Jinetics1111 and Leea-1334 played to a 6-6 draw, which honestly feels a bit like a cruel joke, since 6 correct answers would have been enough for a win in almost any other match. Tough luck, folks.
As for Strongkored, they’re sitting pretty at the top of the table after a solid 6-3 victory over Arallmuus in a direct clash for pole position. Those two now have a small cushion, but don’t get too comfortable—the next 6 teams are lurking, just waiting for any slip-ups to pounce and take the top spot. While the race for the top is tight, it’s looking like the relegation battle is all but wrapped up. The last three positions seem to be locked in for Kokee44, mv1986, and Chi20. The 4th spot, which will face a playoff with a Division 2 team, is still up for grabs, but it’s probably going to come down to a showdown between Jayce and Jinetics1111—two teams fighting tooth and nail to stay in the league, both of whom had the highest number of correct answers this round.
Division 2
Darxiaomi recorded another win this round, maintaining his top position, but El Che is hot on his heels with strong form and impressive performances, just waiting for the slightest slip-up. Both have winnable games on paper in the next round, so let’s see if they can back it up on the pitch. In addition to El Che’s 7-3 win over CLS63, the duel between LTU_btc and VashaUdacha777 is definitely worth mentioning, as it ended 6-5.
Much like Division 1, there’s a group of teams close behind, just waiting for their opportunity to join the title race. Even if that opportunity doesn’t come, the battle for the last two promotion spots will be fierce for sure. The similarities don’t stop there; we also have three teams that will almost certainly be relegated, while there will be a big fight to avoid that 4th relegation spot.
Division 3
Our leader, Patkino, dropped 2 points in his draw against Vivekdkhyani, while Yassinmanai secured a 3-0 win at the Green Table. This has completely opened up the title race, with just two points separating them. It seems like all our divisions are following a similar pattern this season—two teams battling for the title, followed by a group of teams fighting for the remaining promotion spots. In this case, we have eight teams within 3 points, meaning every single point will count. Unfortunately, Shogun47 failed to show up for the third time this season, and that means he’s officially out of the competition.
Division 4
Spack17 and HomieAllDay are still leading the division, just swapping places each week. This week, it was Spack17’s turn to come out on top after winning his duel, while HomieAllDay dropped two points. Next week, HomieAllDay will have a chance to take the lead, as Spack17 doesn’t have a game. However, it won’t be easy—HomieAllDay will be facing 3rd-placed BitcoinHunt3r. This is probably the last opportunity for anyone to enter the title race, as the top two already have a 6-point gap between them.
LMS
This week, LMS was sponsored by Slissy and Buwaytress, both of whom promptly paid the buyback fees and kept the competition rolling. Things are really starting to heat up in the LMS part of the competition. With these two buybacks, the reward for the winner has now surpassed 20mBTC, and that’s coincided with a few weaker rounds from vd309, which has opened up the fight for main prize. El Che is now just one point behind in the standings, with several other teams snapping at their heels. Then, there’s Buwaytress and me—9 points off the top but still hanging by a thread, hoping for a few crazy rounds to shake things up.
