Round 6 Recap
Round 6 was a high scoring one all around, we had many teams getting 4 or 5 correct answers. It is only fitting that round like this had a record result as well then. Big congratulations to mitchr4 for unreal 9 correct answers in this round, though luck for russeras to find himself on receiving end of such performance. We will now take a short break from the league games and start with our BSFL Cup competition for Season 6.
Division 1
Once again we have a new league leader, strongkored won his duel against Jinetics1111 with 6:5 result and managed to take the top spot. Probably not for long if history teaches us anything since we had new team on top in almost every round. This division is incredibly close, fact best illustrated with info that first placed strongkored has just 5 points more than 14th position. Every point will be super important here. Mv1986 the only team on 0 points among all divisions is the only one that looks to have trouble keeping the pace in Division 1, cup break should be useful to reset a bit. Big wins for Slissy and chi20 in this round, both got 6 correct answers and managed to full points.
Division 2
Jeremypwr is on top of Division 2 with 13 points, followed closely by VashaUdacha777 and MAAManda on 12 points. Curiously enough all three of them got 4 correct answers in this round and all 3 of them won their duels with identical 4:3 results. In addition to incredible mitchr4 performance I already mentioned, Renato297 pulled a big win as well while cls63 and ulven got held to 6:6 draw. Really though when 6 correct answers aren’t enough for full points. Igebotz and imarios seem like prime relegation candidates in this division with 4-point gap already forming above them.
Division 3
Yassinmanai started the season running and he already has 5 wins and 1 draw under his belt in first 6 rounds. It doesn’t get much better than that. Patikno seems like the only other team capable of giving him a fight at the top and these two already look like good promotion bets. We had 3 teams with 7 correct answers in this round, well done yassinmanai, ILuckyGuyI and vivekdkhyani. That is the kind of form that all but guarantees wins.
Division 4
Spack17 is still toping the league but after one free week and losing in this round against Dump3er his lead is now just 2 points in front of HomieAllDay who had an easy round since his opponent Joca97 didn't show to the match due to technical difficulties. We hear their bus got trapped in the snow and players decided to chill out and have a snow ball fight instead of employing other means of transportation to get to venue. Good for team spirits but not so good for points 😊
LMS
Since we had a high scoring round it is only natural we didn’t lose that many players in Round 6. This is the first time that players with 3 correct answers were eliminated. We lost entebah and darxiaomi in this round and that means there is 18 people left live in competition. This is also the round when we double our buy back fee and it is now set on 0.5 mBTC.
Everything stayed same on the top with vd309 leading the pack with 31 points, followed by Saint-loup at 29 points. Difference to the bottom is growing and it is now 10 points to the last placed LFC_Bitcoin.
BSFL Cup
This is the week we start with our traditional Cup competition. As always, we will start with double rounds so it will progress quickly and brutally. We are starting the week with 63 teams and only 16 will be left standing come Sunday. This season we had only one free team in first round, honor reserved for strongkored as the best placed team after Round 6.
