Bitcoin Sports Fanatics League Season 7 - Round 10 Re-cap

Another round is behind us—and this one was a milestone: Round 10. With two-thirds of the season now complete, we’re heading into the final stretch where everything will be decided. But before the sprint to the finish begins, we’ll take a short cup break—time to regroup, recharge, and maybe fine-tune those lineups. This round proved a bit tougher for most, with scores of 2 or 3 correct answers fairly common. The top performance of the round came from arallmuus, SATWAT, and ILuckyGuyI, who each managed an impressive 7 correct answers. Well played!
Division 1 Recap
Slissy remains the only team in Division 1 consistently racking up wins week after week, while the rest of us seem to take turns dropping points after short bursts of form. After yet another solid performance—a 5:3 win over Harkorede—he’s now opened up a commanding 5-point lead at the top. Behind him, it’s anyone’s game. The chasing pack is tightly packed, and with just a few points separating us, every win from here on out could make all the difference. No point making predictions yet—it’s all still wide open.
Division 2 Recap
Division 2 is shaping up to be a much tighter contest at the top, with four teams now firmly in the title race. Rikafip leads with 23 points, closely followed by VashaUdacha777, B1g4udge, and mv1986—each just one point behind on 22. The highlight of the round was the clash between Rikafip and B1g4udge, with the latter edging out a thrilling 6:5 win. That result has blown the title race wide open. Not long ago, Rikafip looked as comfortable at the top as Slissy does in Division 1—but things can change fast in this league.
Division 3 Recap
Dittoup and Spack17 remain our joint leaders, but their lead has narrowed—they’re now just 2 points ahead of both Ozymandias_DZ and Hhampuz. Hhampuz, in particular, seems to be hitting his stride lately, not only climbing the league table but also lightening our wallets in the Beat The Mafia side challenge. Clearly, he's making the most of his momentum on all fronts.
Division 4 Recap
Dump3er now stands alone at the top of Division 4 after narrowly defeating goodpunt in a head-to-head clash for first place. It was a proper derby, with both teams delivering strong performances—Dump3er just managing to edge it 6:5. The promotion race remains wide open, though, with a cluster of teams packed closely together and only a few points separating them. Every round is going to matter from here on out.
LMS
The LMS competition is heating up. Only six of us entered this round, and two were knocked out—vd309 and I couldn’t quite keep pace this time and ended up drawing the short straw. But don’t celebrate just yet—we might both buy back in and return to the fight. At the top, Slissy continues to dominate, holding a 6-point lead over cls63. Hopefully, the upcoming cup break shakes up his momentum a bit and gives the rest of us a fighting chance.
Cup Preview
As mentioned earlier, it’s cup week—which means two knockout rounds are ahead of us. We’ll kick things off with 16 players, and by the end of the Round of 16 and quarterfinals, only four will remain. As always, the numbers are ruthless, and only the toughest competitors make it through in the cup.
Here’s a quick refresher on the full schedule:
-
VashaUdacha777 vs. chi20
-
Ozymandias_DZ vs. Harkorede
-
slaman29 vs. paco92x
-
Trofo vs. hakan2217
-
darxiaomi vs. Dittoup
-
Renato297 vs. arallmuus
-
cls63 vs. welovebit
-
execijutiere vs. goodpunt
As usual, it’s a mix of teams from all divisions. The question now is: will the semifinals once again be overrun by lower division surprises, or is Division 1 ready to make a statement? Let the chaos begin.
Interview with Slissy
For those who haven’t been keeping track, Slissy is currently leading both Division 1 and the LMS competition. He’s also my personal nemesis—but we’ll keep that part quiet for now. With the kind of form he’s been in this season, I figured it was the perfect time to sit down for a quick interview and give you all a sneak peek into the mind behind the winning streak.
Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I'm a Viking from Norway who loves to gamble. I have been gambling for over 20 years (Always bet responsibly)
When you got into crypto, sportsbet and forum?
When it comes to crypto, a friend introduced me to bitcoin in 2011, but it wasn't until 2012 that I bought my first bitcoin. And I don't regret learning about it because crypto is the future.
I was looking for a new betting site that accepts crypto, I was so tired of expensive deposit fees and long withdrawal times that can take anywhere from 1 day up to 1 week. Luckily Sportsbet appeared in 2016 and I have been a member there ever since.. They deserve a lot of praise. No withdrawal fees and fast withdrawals which is the most important thing for us customers. why wait for days for withdrawals when we can get it in a few minutes at sportsbet, right?
I actually created a bitcointalk account in 2021 when Steve from Sportsbet wrote in the clubhouse chat that I should get an account there, I did that right away and I recommend all gamblers to register there to join in on the fun that's happening there.
What is the secret behind your success in BSFL this season? First place in Div1 and LMS is definitely a result to be proud off.
My secret behind my success in BSFL and LMS this season Is that I spend anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes each round, sometimes a little longer. I am a competitive person and I hate losing and yes I am a bad loser haha.. But that makes me extra focused on each round. Of course, I've also had a lot of luck this season. and that's how it should continue the rest of the season!
What is your BSFL history and biggest rivals?
I have been in BSFL div 1 from the beginning and have won 1st place 2 times. But this is what i have won in cash prizes in each season: 43.5mBTC (S1), 12mBTC (S2), 9.5mBTC (S3), 16.5mBTC(S4), 5mBTC (S5), 2mBTC (S6)
My biggest rivals right now is both mafia Trofo and cryptofrka but that's mostly because we have a 2mbtc sidebet every season in BSFL.
