Bitcoin Sports Fanatics League Season 7 - Round 11 Re-cap

Bitcoin Sports Fanatics League Season 7 - Round 11 Re-cap

We’re past the halfway mark of the season, and with Round 11 done, the tables are beginning to take shape. The pressure is clearly showing now, as scores dipped across the board. Despite the round being football-heavy—which should’ve played into most people’s strengths—many still found it tricky. This round, 5 correct answers was excellent score, with only vd309 managing to go one better and hit 6/10. Nicely done. Let’s go through each division to see how things are shaping up.

Division 1 Recap

Division 1 saw two standout wins this round. Vd309 took a solid 6:3 victory while Cryptofrka won his duel 5:2, both improving their goal difference and keeping themselves in the chasing pack. The rest of the matches were tighter, with no big swings. At the top, Slissy continues his steady run. Even when not hitting peak form, he finds a way to win and now sits on 26 points, five clear of both vd309 and jayce. That gap is already starting to look decisive.

At the other end, ralle14’s struggles continue. With just 4 points from 11 rounds and already 8 points adrift of safety, survival looks unlikely without a dramatic turnaround. Ulven and notblox1 are also in the relegation zone, but their situation is far less dire—only three points behind safety. Looking ahead, next round offers a key clash between vd309 and jayce for second place. Meanwhile, Slissy faces bottom-placed ralle14. Depending on how results fall, Slissy could be very close to wrapping up the title early. Come on ralle14, this is the moment—an upset here would be the perfect spark to start clawing back, we are all rooting for you.

Division 2 Recap

Division 2 turned into a bit of a holiday round, with three teams not showing up for their games. That absence shook up the standings, but one thing remains clear—Rikafip is in control. Sitting on 26 points, he has built a 4-point cushion over the chasing pack. Behind him, the promotion race is wide open. Hosemary, VashaUdacha777, B1g4udge, and mv1986 are all locked on 22 points, while Igebotz lurks just two points further back. With so many teams stacked together, every slip will be punished and every win could mean a big leap forward. At the other end, things are looking bleak for jeremypwr, who sits bottom with only 4 points. LFC_Bitcoin and MAAManda aren’t doing much better, and right now those three seem the most likely candidates for relegation. Still, there’s time left in the season—stringing together even a couple of wins could change the picture quickly.

Division 3 Recap

Division 3 is shaping up to be one of the most competitive ones. Dittoup and Spack17 both picked up another win and now share the top spot on 25 points, holding a 3-point cushion over the rest. But that “rest” is a real crowd—six teams are packed within just three points, making every single result crucial in the battle for promotion. On the flip side, there isn’t a clear relegation candidate yet. The bottom half is just as tight, and one good round could change everything. At the moment, un_rank finds himself in the most dangerous position, but he’s only a win (and a bit of luck with other results) away from climbing back into safety. This division is going to be a grind until the very end.

Division 4 Recap

Division 4 is starting to settle as well. Goodpunt and Dump3er are now joint leaders, opening up a 4-point gap over the rest. This round worked out perfectly for goodpunt—he took a convincing 5:1 win while Dump3er slipped, allowing him to catch up right at the top. From the looks of it, the title fight is shaping into a straight duel between those two, while the rest of the league seems more focused on scrapping for that valuable 3rd place—the last promotion spot on offer. It’s still open, but unless someone goes on a strong run soon, the top two might already be out of reach.

LMS

This round trimmed the LMS field down even further. We kicked things off with six players, but two of us slipped under the safety line—Strongkored and myself. Pressure does strange things, and this time it got the better of us. Strongkored has already confirmed he won’t be buying back in, and realistically it would make sense for me to follow suit, as the gap to the leaders is looking more and more unbridgeable. Still, it’s LMS—stranger things have happened, and last-round heroics are never completely off the table. That leaves four players still standing, with Slissy holding firm at the top on 57 points. Vd309 is close behind, just three points adrift, while cls63 and cryptofrka sit another three points back. The way it’s shaping up, this could be one of those rare LMS seasons that’s wrapped up before the final whistle.
