Bitcoin Sports Fanatics League Season 7 - Round 13 Re-cap

Another round is behind us and we are slowly moving closer to the season end. With only 4 rounds left, a maximum of 12 points is still up for grabs and the pressure is definitely starting to show. This time the overall level was a bit better compared to recent weeks, with 4 and 5 correct answers being much more common than before. The highlight of the round goes to famososMuertos, who managed 7 correct answers – the only one to do so in Round 13. Well played. Curious to see if we can keep this level up with the international break coming.
Division 1 Recap
Results in Division 1 lined up almost perfectly with the standings this time. The three clearest wins came from the league’s top three – Slissy, Cryptofrka, and vd309. Slissy beat notblox1 6:3, Cryptofrka took full advantage of a poor round from Jinetics1111 with a 5:1 win, and vd309 was rock solid in a 4:0 victory over arallmuus. That keeps Slissy and vd309 comfortably out in front, while Cryptofrka has now climbed into the top three. With how close the table is, every single point could prove decisive for final placements. The title may already feel close to decided, but the relegation fight is wide open. Ralle14 put in a strong effort this round, but still came away empty-handed – leaving him staring at a 10-point gap to safety, which looks like a last-chance situation. The fight to avoid the other three relegation spots is shaping up to be extremely tight, with six teams inside only three points and the possibility of even more being dragged into the mix.
Division 2 Recap
Mv1986 and LTU_btc played out a high-scoring 5:5 draw, while hosemary also shared the points in a 4:4 clash with el che. That opened the door for Rikafip to extend his lead at the top, and he did just that with a 5:3 win over Kokee44. These results gave him a 4-point cushion at the summit. We shall see if he can keep the form until the end. The division has started to split into two halves – the top eight chasing promotion and the bottom eight scrapping to avoid the last two relegation spots. Nothing is settled yet, but LFC_Bitcoin and jeremypwr look firmly stuck in trouble. Even strong rounds, like jeremypwr’s five correct answers this time, haven’t been enough to turn performances into points, and the gap is beginning to look hard to close.
Division 3 Recap
Division 3 is starting to take shape compared to the first two. Dittoup and Spack17 remain locked in a head-to-head for the title, holding a 4-point cushion over famososMuertos, who strengthened his grip on the last direct promotion spot with a big win this round. Behind him, though, the picture is anything but clear – nine teams sit within just 3 points, all chasing that crucial 4th place and a shot at promotion. It promises to be a tense finish where every point and even goal difference could prove decisive. At the other end, the relegation battle looks a bit more defined. Dbshck is already out of the running, un_rank has fallen off the pace, and the final drop spot seems set to come down to a straight fight between russeras and BitcoinHunt3r.
Division 4 Recap
This round gave us two entertaining 4:4 draws, with execijutiere, goodpunt, welovebit and Woodie all walking away with just a point each. That made the victories from Hyphen(-) and Note3 all the more valuable, as they could be the spark for a late push toward promotion. Still, the top of the table looks fairly set. Goodpunt and Dump3er are neck and neck in the title race, while Woodie currently holds the 3rd and final promotion spot. His 3-point cushion over the chasing pack gives him some breathing room, but with so many contenders right behind, hanging onto it until the end will be a real challenge.
LMS
Round started with just four players left in LMS: Slissy, vd309, cryptofrka, and cls63. Unfortunately for cls63, he found himself below the safety line and, being last in the pecking order, it’s unlikely we’ll see a buyback from him. That leaves an unprecedented situation: only three players fighting for the prize with four rounds to go. Slissy and vd309 hold a slight edge over cryptofrka, but with just the three of them, every point will count, and the competition is wide open. Expect some dramatic buybacks and a fierce battle all the way to the finish.
