Bitcoin Sports Fanatics League Season 7 - Round 6 Re-cap

After a short pause for cup action, we’re back to league business with Round 6—and it turned out to be a bit of a polarizing affair. On one end of the spectrum, several teams came out firing with 6 correct answers, showing sharp form after the break. On the other, quite a few struggled to get going, managing just a single correct pick. The result? A round full of mismatches and some big goal difference swings that could prove important down the line. As we are progressing through the rounds the margins start to matter more.
Division 1 Recap
Division 1 was a textbook case of the highs and lows mentioned earlier. Slissy and cryptofrka both hit 6 correct answers, cruising to identical 6:1 wins over their opponents. Jinetics1111 and cls63 also delivered 6 correct answers, though their matchups were a bit tighter, with opponents putting up more resistance—but the 3 points were never really in doubt. With these results, Jinetics1111 now sits at the top of the table, with Slissy just a point behind. The two have managed to create a bit of breathing room from the chasing pack—and that gap could grow, as 3rd-placed vd309 is about to clash with 4th-placed strongkored in the next round. At the other end, things aren’t looking too bright for arallmuus, leea-1334, and ralle14, who are struggling to keep pace. Still, plenty of time to turn it guys but better start winning sooner than later.
Division 2 Recap
The headline from Division 2 this week: hosemary’s perfect run comes to an end, falling 5:3 to B1g4udge—a result that not only hands hosemary his first loss but also lets B1g4udge leapfrog him in the standings. Rikafip is now the new Division leader after getting quite lucky with securing 2:1 win, a result that would mean loss of points if he was matched with any other team in this division. Sometimes you win dominantly and sometimes you scrape through, but they all count the same. The table has taken on an interesting shape: Rikafip, B1g4udge, and hosemary are all locked in with 5 wins from 6 games, creating a clear leading trio and then we have all the rest fighting for the last promotion spot.
Division 3 Recap
A few standout performances caught the eye in Division 3 this round. vivekdhyani put up 6 correct answers to claim a 6:3 win, while SATWAT followed close behind with a 5:1 victory, showing both solid prediction form and a bit of defensive luck. A few others—un_rank and ILuckyGuyI—also hit 5 correct answers but found themselves in tighter duels where their opponents kept things interesting, turning potential blowouts into narrow wins. At the top of the table, it’s shaping up to be a two-horse race: Ozymandias_DZ leads the way with 17 points, trailed closely by Dittoup on 16. Both are starting to open a gap, clearly marking themselves as front-runners in the promotion conversation. Still a lot of football left to play, but they’ve definitely set the pace.
Division 4 Recap
Dump3er remains at the top of the table, and despite only managing a draw this round, he’s still holding a solid 4-point cushion—not bad for a mid-season breather. The real fireworks came from a few teams making serious moves: General_Bitcoin and welovebit both delivered 6 correct answers, katanic97 wasn’t far behind, picking up 5 correct answers. All of them secured a convincing win and boosted their promotion chances.
LMS
After a brief moment of calm, we were right back to chaos this round. 15 players started, and by the end, 7 had dropped below the safety line—nearly half the field gone in one swoop. What’s even more surprising is that some of those names had been doing really well up to this point. That’s why we’re fully expecting at least a few buybacks—this race is far from over. At the top, Slissy holds the lead with 31 points, with cls63 hot on his heels, just a point behind. Meanwhile, spots 3 and 4 are technically held by vd309 and VashaUdacha777, but both are currently out—pending a buyback. What’s the holdup, lads? Sitting in the top 4 and walking away now would be a plot twist no one saw coming.
