Bitcoin Sports Fanatics League Season 7 - Round 8 Re-cap

It seems like most teams in the BSFL have found their rhythm—every round now has plenty of high scores. Or maybe we’ve just made the questions a bit too easy? Scores of 5 or 6 were pretty common this time, with several teams in each division reaching that level. Still, it’s a bit surprising that no one managed to go beyond that. Let’s take a closer look at what happened in each division, as usual.
Division 1 Recap
Slissy continues his strong run, this time edging out cryptofrka with a solid 6:5 win. It was a tough loss for cryptofrka—scores like that usually earn at least a point in most matchups. But Slissy won’t be too concerned, as he now sits comfortably at the top of Division 1. He’s two points ahead of the chasing pack, and there are six of us separated by just one point. From here on, every point at the top will really count. Another result worth noting is jayce’s 6:2 win over Jinetics1111—a team that was leading the division just two rounds ago.
Division 2 Recap
Chi20 was the only one to hit 6 correct answers this round, which easily secured a win over B1g4udge. Several others managed 5 correct, but two performances stood out: darxiaomi and Kokee44 both pulled off strong 5:1 victories. That kind of goal difference might come in handy down the line. At the top of the division, Rikafip is setting the standard with an impressive 22 points out of a possible 24. No surprise, then, that he’s opened up a 4-point lead over his closest challengers, VashaUdacha777 and B1g4udge.
Division 3 Recap
In Division 3, both Hhampuz and paco92x scored 6 correct answers. Hhampuz had a relatively smooth ride, winning 6:2, while paco92x had to hold his nerve—entebah put up a strong fight and kept things close until the final moment. At the top of the table, Dittoup picked up another win and maintains a 3-point cushion over Spack17. While those two have created a bit of space at the top, the race for the remaining promotion spots is heating up, with several teams packed tightly within just 2 points of each other.
Division 4 Recap
We have joint leaders in Division 4, with goodpunt and Dump3er both sitting on 18 points after once again outplaying their opponents. Dump3er secured an impressive 5:2 win over execijutiere, while goodpunt wasn’t far behind with a solid 4:2 victory against katanic97. The two now have a 5-point lead over the rest, and it’s starting to look like the title race is down to just them. The third promotion spot, however, is still wide open—and the battle for it is shaping up to be intense.
LMS
Nine of us started the round, but two were knocked out this time—vivekdhyani1 and Jinetics1111 ended up below the line. That leaves just seven still in the running for the main reward of 13.25, pending any buybacks. The big winner of the round was Slissy, who extended his lead at the top to 4 points. It’s a solid advantage, but with plenty of rounds left, one slip could bring the rest of us right back into the mix.
