Cup semi-finals are done and dusted, and for once we didn’t see the usual cup surprises. Both Division 1 sides showed their strength and booked their places in the final. Harkorede took control early against paco92x and never really let go, cruising to a 5:2 victory. On the other side, cls63 delivered a statement performance with 7 correct answers, leaving Dittoup no chance in a 7:3 result. That sets up a cracking final between cls63 and Harkorede — a proper heavyweight clash to decide the cup winner. But before we get there, it’s back to business with league action in Round 15.
Round 15 Preview
With only three rounds left, every duel carries weight, but a few fixtures stand out above the rest. The big one in Division 1 is slaman29 against vd309 — a proper top-of-the-table clash between 3rd and 2nd place. The winner keeps pressure on Slissy, the runaway leader, while the loser can pretty much forget about the title race. That said, Slissy’s advantage is already sizeable, and with a relatively favorable matchup against arallmuus, it’s hard to see him slipping. A draw between slaman29 and vd309 would practically hand him the crown with two rounds still to go.
In Division 2, Rikafip and hosemary both head into this round with fixtures they should be winning on paper, but that only adds to the pressure — any slip could prove very costly at this stage. The real highlight, though, is the direct clash between darxiaomi and mv1986. With 3rd place being the last guaranteed ticket to Division 1 next season, expect a tight, hard-fought battle.
Over in Division 3, it’s a similar story at the very top. Dittoup and Spack17 have been trading blows all season, and both will be looking for routine wins to keep their title race alive. A dropped point now could mean losing more than just momentum — it could mean losing the Division 3 title. While there isn’t a clear derby here, the middle of the table is tight enough that surprise results are almost certain to shake things up.
Division 4 serves up a real headline clash this round as 3rd-placed Woodie takes on table leader Dump3er. This one could have a huge say in how the promotion race plays out. Goodpunt will be watching closely — a Woodie win could put his 2nd spot under real pressure, but at the same time, it would keep the title race alive. On the flip side, if Dump3er comes out on top, we might see the top three effectively locked in with two rounds still to play. High stakes all around.
