Season 7 has started
We’re now officially rolling in the new season, with two rounds already in the books. And Round 2 was a strange one. Most players landed somewhere around 3 or 4 correct answers, but a few absolutely knocked it out of the park. Big congrats to Rikafip and chi20, who both delivered an unreal 8 correct picks—a rare feat at any stage of the season. Extra kudos to chi20, whose opponent only managed 1 correct answer, giving him a massive boost in goal difference. That’s the kind of swing that can make a real impact later on. Now, let’s break it down division by division and see who else made waves this round.
Division 1 Recap
Round 2 in Division 1 was as tight as they come—four draws and three more games decided by just a single goal. This league clearly isn’t giving anyone an easy ride. Only two matches saw clear winners: Slissy put on a clinical display with a 6:2 win over Jinetics1111, while Strongkored edged out a 5:3 win over yours truly, a result that launched him straight to the top of the table—a familiar view for last season’s champion. Jayce is the only other manager to rack up two wins from two, showing just how competitive things are shaping up to be.On the other side of the table ulven and notblox1 are the only ones without a point to their name so it is a bout time to get some.
Division 2 Recap
Division 2 was easily the wildest ride of the round—big swings, big scores, and a whole lot of action. Both of our top performers from the round—Rikafip and chi20—hail from this division, but they weren’t the only ones making noise. VashaUdacha777 came out on top in a shootout-style 7:5 win over yassinmanai, while mv1986, Igebotz, and hakan2217 each dropped a solid 6 goals on their opponents. Talk about flexing early-season form. At the top of the table, we’ve got three teams sitting pretty with perfect records: Igebotz, Rikafip, and hosemary are all 2-for-2 and looking sharp.
Division 3 Recap
Division 3 is quickly shaping up to be the season’s most controversial corner. We’ve already seen a surprising number of no-shows, resulting in four penalty points handed out—and dbshck is skating on very thin ice, teetering on the edge of disqualification. As a result, they’re comfortably (or uncomfortably) parked at the bottom of the table with negative points. At the top end, things are far more cheerful. We have five teams with perfect starts: famososMuertos, slackovic, HomieAllDay, Dittoup, and entebah are all 2-for-2 and setting the early pace. Performance-wise, hats off to Dittoup and Ozymandias_DZ, both hitting an impressive 7 correct answers in their wins—clearly not distracted by the drama around them.
Division 4 Recap
In Division 4, the bar was set at 6 correct answers, and only two teams reached it—congrats to goodpunt and Dump3er for leading the charge. With this result, Dump3er stands alone at the top, the only one with a perfect record so far and making an early statement as a serious contender for promotion. It’s still early days, but the intent is clear.
LMS
In the previous round, we saw 3 buybacks, which brought us into Round 2 with 52 players. As is tradition in these early LMS rounds we are dropping teams at a fast pace and another 10 teams were below the line this time. Let’s see how many decide to buy back and add something to the reward pool that is currently sitting at 10.75 mBTC. So far, the person to catch is HomieAllDay with 12 points in 2 rounds. Impressive scores but will be though to keep them up throughout the season.
