Bitcoin Sports Fanatics League Season 7 Starts - Round 4 Re-cap

Round 4 is in the books, and it turned out to be a relatively peaceful one, with plenty of teams sharing the spoils. That’s not too surprising, considering the majority landed in the 3 to 4 correct answers range. The standout performance came from el che, who bucked the trend and pulled off an impressive 7 correct picks—nobody else even made it to 6. Credit where it’s due—well played.

Division 1 Recap

Vd309 led the way in Division 1 this round with 5 correct picks, enough to secure a solid 5:2 win over cryptofrka. The only other standout was Jinetics1111, who comfortably beat Harkorede 4:1. The rest of the matchups followed the overall trend of the round—tight contests and shared points—with a record four draws on the board. At the top of the table, jayce is holding on to first place with 10 points, but there’s not much breathing room. Vd309, strongkored, and Jinetics1111 are right behind on 9 points each. It’s already shaping up to be another tightly contested season in Division 1.

Division 2 Recap

Hosemary is setting the early benchmark in Division 2, cruising to another convincing 5:2 win this round. That’s four wins in four games, and with no points dropped so far, it’s no surprise to see them sitting comfortably at the top of the table. Early days still, but hosemary looks like a team with serious promotion intent. Just behind, Rikafip and B1g4udge also did the business this week, both securing solid 3:1 wins to keep themselves in the chasing pack. The top three are beginning to separate slightly, but things could still shift quickly with plenty of matches to go. At the other end of the table, things are much tighter. The bottom eight teams are separated by just two points, so even small shifts can make a big difference. It’s still early enough for anyone to climb out of the lower ranks, but consistency will be key in the coming rounds.

Division 3 Recap

Division 3 delivered an odd little twist this round—none of the away teams managed to take all three points. Only our league leaders, Dittoup and entebah, managed to escape with a single point each on the road. Not that BSFL usually gives much weight to home or away designations, but maybe we’re onto a new stat to keep an eye on. Mid-table has turned into a jam with barely any breathing room. From 5th-placed paco92x to 14th-placed SATWAT, there's only a 3-point gap. That’s one good result away from jumping half the table—or slipping just as far in the other direction. Expect movement. A lot of it.

Division 4 Recap

Dump3er keeps the momentum going with a narrow 4:3 victory over katanic97, making it four wins from four and giving him a slight cushion at the top of the table. It’s still early days, but that’s a clear statement of intent in the promotion race. n the other end of the table, Woodie deserves a shoutout for his 5:2 win over welovebit. He may still be holding the last spot, but with that result, he's finally out of reverse gear and looking to make a move toward mid-table respectability.

LMS

Despite higher overall scores this round, the LMS saw a surprisingly high dropout rate. We started with 27 teams, and 13 of them bowed out — nearly half the field. While a few buybacks are expected, it’s clear we’re already narrowing down to the core contenders much quicker than usual. At the top of the table, we now have a three-way tie, with Slissy, cls63, and vd309 all sitting on 20 points. Strong starts from all three, but there’s still a long way to go and plenty of room for the rest of us to mount a comeback in the race for the LMS crown.
